B-REAL — CYPRESS HILL
The man who put weed in hip-hop. 35 years later, he's still growing it.
The Origin
THE NAME WASN'T INVENTED. IT WAS EARNED.
1998. Cypress Hill IV. The track “Dr. Greenthumb” — a mad-scientist grower who knew how to cultivate it and protect it. That was the character. That was B-Real.
The song existed for 20 years before the dispensary opened. No brand consultants, no celebrity licensing deal. The name had already meant something for two decades because B-Real had been living it.
In 1991, Cypress Hill's debut went double platinum and changed what hip-hop was allowed to say about cannabis. Before it was safe. Before it was legal. Before anyone called it a “cannabis brand.”
The Process
HANDS ON. EVERY TIME.
B-Real and master grower Kenji Fujishima have been working together since 1995. The process hasn't changed: find the California legacy farms being done right, pull samples, taste everything personally, and only put the name on what actually makes the cut.
The flower line runs three tiers — Loyal for the everyday consumer who wants quality without paying through the nose, Legacy for the connoisseur who respects where the genetics came from, and Unapologetic for the person who just wants the best weed available.
“I would never collaborate with something I wouldn't use myself.”

THE SMOKEBOX
B-Real has been hosting one of the most honest conversations in cannabis for years. Rogan twice, Mike Tyson, Wiz Khalifa, Tommy Chong, George Lopez. No filter. No talking points.
The Smokebox isn't a marketing channel — it's where the culture lives.
On the record
“The one thing we know about the cannabis industry is people want to know you've actually been involved in the culture — and it's not just a money grab.”
